KoRn is one of the new wave of metal bands that have graced the genre in the last couple of years, using the trade marked tuned down guitars, low squeltchy vocals and a lack of instrumental solos to keep the gruve of the song and not show off to all their shreddin' buddies.  The sound that KoRn helped create and pioneer is one that depicts a kind of suffering that is attuned to the audiences which listen, and have deep personal meaning for the band members involved, and correspondingly, to the fans.  They are about to release their new album, Follow the Leader.  Apparently it won' tcontain the angry lyrics that has become trademark of KoRn and their imitators.  Will it stand up to their old stuff?  Or will it be metallica revisited?  We'll have to wait and see..
